Jamie was an important part of the famous 2001 Walker Cup team that beat the USA on their home soil. He was unbeaten in all singles and foursomes matches and represented England on 29 occasions being the No.1 player on the Augusta State University Golf Team.

Jamie finished his time in the USA as the 2nd ranked amateur on the US amatuer rankings following 23 top 10 finishes. Jamie turned professional in 2003 and secured his European Tour playing privileges that year winning the Volvo Finnish Open with a score of 22 under par.

He followed this up with 6 more top 10 finishes to finish 10th on the Challenge Tour order of merit. 2004 was a frustrating year, with injury problems, after a bright start he ended up 154 on the Order of Merit. Jamie qualified for the British Open this year at Royal Birkdale and is currently 28th on the EuroPro Tour Order of Merit.

Zane Scotland first came to prominence in the 1999 open at Carnoustie where he became the second youngest player to qualify for the British Open. He won the Peter McEvoy Trophy, The Spanish and Portuguese Amateur Championships and became Europe's No.1 amateur before turning professional in 2003.

Zane secured his European tour card for 2008 in spectacular fashion finishing in 89th place on the European order of merit. He did this in only seven starts, joinging a select group of players including Sergio Garcia and Adam Scott, who also acquired their tour cards in such style.

Zane had a steady start to the 2008 season, only to be struck down with a wrist injury. He will continue his career on the European tour starting in the middle east.

Benn started playing golf at the age of 12 at Ashford Golf Club in Kent and won the Kent Amateur Championship before turning professional in 1996. He completed his PGA training and then excelled on the European Challenge Tour, winning twice. This culminated in securing his full European tour rights via the Challenge Tour in 2003.

With a 4th place finish behind him from the 2000 Scottish PGA Championships, before the transition to the European tour in 2006, finishing 97th on the order of Merit. Benn improved to 86th in 2007, his highest position to date.

This year saw a solid year for Benn with a 4th place finish in the Celtic Manor Wales Open and 3rd in the Russian Open. Benn has secured his playing rights for the 2009 season.

Geraint Jones was England's wicket keeper through their most successful period in the last 20 years. Geraint was born in Papua New Guinea and lived in Australia until he was 22. He briefly played for Glamorgan 2nd XI before consolidating his position as Kent's wicket keeper.

Geraint was rewarded for his consistency with the bat and made his England debut in the West Indies. He played a huge part in England claiming the Ashes and will be remembered for catching Michael Kasporwicz off the bowling of Steve Harmison to win the Edgbaston Test.

Geraint played 34 Tests and 49 One Day Internationals for England and was awarded the MBE in the New Years Honours List of 2006. He also played a key role scoring 85 while supporting Andrew Flintoff in a stand of 177 in the 4th Ashes Test win at Trent Bridge. Geraint will again be representing Kent for the following season.

Andrew turned professional in 1995, embarking on a career where he was being touted as one of England's brightest prospects. Before this, he had been voted number one junior in the United States Junior College system, winning four events from fields, including Jim Furyk and Phil Mickleson.

Five months into his professional career, he was bitten by an Alsatian, losing 5mm of the top of his finger. Even with this setback, Andrew managed to secure his European Tour Card in 1996. He held his Tour Card a further five times, but was still troubled by the injury.

In 2005, Andrew underwent surgery to stretch the bone in his finger. This was to guard against shrinkage, which was causing him to lose grip at the top of his backswing. After a year out of golf, Andrew returned to Tour School in 2006, winning one of the 30 Tour Cards available.

Scott burst onto the scene in 2004 by winning the European Tour's flagship event, The PGA Championship at Wentworth. He was one shot behind entering the Final, but shot a remarkable 64 to clinch the trophy by 2 shots from Angel Cabrera.

The field included such players as Ernie Els and Vijay Singh and this win gave Scott entry into the US PGA Championship at Whistling Straits and the British Open at Royal Troon, Scott finished the season on 23rd on the order of merit and was named Sir Henry Cotton rookie of the year.

He also participated in the World Cup in Sevilla partnering Alistair Forsyth. Scott represented his country at every level of Amateur golf before turning professional in 1996 spending his early career playing on the mini circuit before his first victory on the Challenge Tour in 2001.

He Won again in 2003 which secured his place on the main tour for the following year. Since his victory in 2004, Scott has been a regular on the European Tour.

James turned professional in 2004 following a sparkling amateur career. He won the Faldo Junior Series in 2002, and in the same year, the Greek Amateur Championship. Richard ended his first season in a highly creditable position of 73rd, losing a play-off in the Irish Open to Soren Hanson. He lost his palying rights in 2003, but won them back the following season via The Challenge Tour with five top 10 finishes.

In 2005, Richard ended the season in 111th place and finished the 2006 season 72nd on the order of merit - his highest position to date. Richard has accumulated 21 top 10 finishes on the European Challenge Tour and eight top 10 finishes on the European Tour where he recently finished 5th in Bali. He currently has full playing rights for the 2009 season and is closing in on his first win.

He improved his order of Merit from 97th to 11th between 2005 and 2008. By the end of the 2008 season, Oliver had seven 2nd place finishes in his European Tour career. He made his debut in the winning Great Britian and Ireland Seve Trophy team in 2007 where he won twice.

On a charitable front, he has pledged his support to Dare UK, the British arm of the worldwide anti-drugs educational programme, and he is also a Youth Ambassador for the Golf Foundation.

Sandy joined the European Senior Tour in 2008. He became the first Briton to win The Open Championship since Tony Jacklin in 1969 when he lifted the Claret Jug in 1985 at Royal St George’s. Three years later he became the first Briton to win the Masters Tournament when he triumphed at Augusta National in 1988, famously hitting a seven iron from the bunker on the last to set up a winning birdie.

A teenage prodigy, who made his debut at 14, he was a prolific winner before turning professional in 1977. He went on to win 18 European Tour events. As one of Ian Woosnam’s Assistant Captains for The 2006 Ryder Cup, he played his part in Europe’s record-equalling nine-point winning margin at The K Club, marking a successful return to the Ryder Cup fold for the first time since 1987. Sandy now plays most of his golf on The Champions Tour in the US.
